Steel Toe Boots Bursary Helps Youth get job ready

Check out Ryder from Kelowna in the new steel-toe boots he received through the Homebuilders Initiative’s bursary program.

Ryder is a high school student who will take a dual credit trades program next school year. After high school, he plans on pursuing a career in carpentry or welding

Our bursary program aims to remove some of the financial barriers that might prevent high school students from exploring homebuilding careers by providing essential safety gear, specifically steel-toe boots.

Keep an eye on our website for more opportunities to enable students and youth to experience homebuilding and skilled trades careers.
