Refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics are responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing and overhauling central air conditioning systems and understanding the combined heating, cooling and ventilation systems that are in every home. It’s a skilled trade focussed on the comfort and air quality of a home.

A college diploma and completion of a two-year apprenticeship program are required to be eligible for trade certification.
